StudioPress is on a ROLL!
Today I realized that it’s been a LONG time since I’ve simply done a shout out about all the cool stuff going on over at StudioPress! (I know, twist my arm to talk about StudioPress!). So I thought I’d do a little slideshow /video about everything they’ve got going on.
Honestly- I’m such a geek about this. Of course I subscribe to updates- but I also have their feed on my iGoogle Homepage! So needless to say every time I see a new theme, blog post, new free graphic- it’s the first place I go in the morning when I’m starting my day (really- that much of a dork. And if it’s been a while since I’ve seen an update I just go to the blog to see if the feed hasn’t updated yet).
FIRST… I have to share
Yes, I’m TOTALLY late in sharing this- it was a busy end of summer (and I’ve learned NOT to go to two conferences two weekends in a row. As fun as they were).
I did attend San Francisco WordCamp this past August (it was great- of course), but one of the highlights for me was going to the Genesis Connect Image may be NSFW.

Meetup Friday night, hosted by StudioPress! I was able to connect with a reader, Stacey Wilkinson, who was then kind enough to introduce me to Lou Anne McKeefery (the brilliant mind and teacher behind our WP SEO Mastery course).
But of course one of my highlights was getting to meet Brian Gardner (yep- of StudioPress) and chat with him for a bit!
I’m sure it comes as NO surprise that he is absolutely just as nice in person as I expected (probably more so). We chatted a bit about how he started StudioPress, where the road has taken him and his partnering up with Copyblogger.
Clearly I’m not the most objective person when it comes to using Genesis, but when you get to meet the people behind the products you adore and are able to understand more about their ‘why’ and what their intentions are for doing what they do- it makes it that much easier to continue being a loyal customer, fan and supporter!
Ok… enough gushing…
